BRIEF BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Arthur Chinedu Idoko obtained his MB.BS. degree from the University of Jos. He holds a Master of Public Health degree (MPH) and a Certificate in Health Economics from the World Bank Institute Washington DC. He is a fellow of the West African College of Physicians (FWACP). He is widely travelled, and has attended and presented papers in several international conferences. Dr. Idoko is a Consultant Physician in the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH) and a lecturer in the department of Community Medicine, Faculty of Medical Sciences, College of Medicine of the University of Nigeria. On the political front, he was Director of Socials of the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) and member of a five – man panel set up by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) National Working Committee (NWC) that organized special congresses for the Plateau State National, State Assembly and Gubernatorial Primaries in 2011. Dr Idoko was in February 2014 appointed the Chairman, Enugu State Hospitals Management Board by His Excellency the Governor of Enugu State. He plays the piano, tennis and swims at his spare time. He is happily married and is blessed with two sons.
