BRIEF BIOGRAPHY

Olanike Agwu-Umahi graduated with the MBBch degree from the University of Calabar, Nigeria in 1998. She also obtained a Master of Science with distinction in Global Health from the University of Chester, United Kingdom in 2015 in addition to the Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, in 2009. She is a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians (Community Health) and a lecturer in the Environmental and Occupational Health Unit of the Department of Community Medicine, University of Nigeria. Her areas of interest include Global Health Research, Environmental and Occupational Health. She has served as a Consultant and pioneer of Occupational Health at the Federal College of Dental Technology and Therapy, Enugu for 5 years. She also served as Consultant and facilitator to the National Agency for Drug and Food Administration (NAFDAC) on the Stakeholder Sensitisation on the Use of Fake and Substandard Drugs in 2011. She has recently completed a research on ‘Effects of training sachet water producers on the production and quality of sachet drinking water in Enugu.
