BRIEF BIOGRAPHY

Nwachukwu Chinedu Ugwunna has MBBS degree from University of Nigeria Nsukka Enugu Campus in 2002 and the degree of MPH in Community Medicine (Public Health) of the University of Nigeria Nsukka in 2015. He is a fellow of the West African College of Physicians (Community Medicine). He is also a Lecturer in the Primary health care, Health promotion and communication unit of the Department of Community Medicine, Faculty of Medical Science, College of Medicine, University of Nigeria Ituku Ozalla Campus. He has served as consultant to the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), Federal Ministry of Health, National TB Control Programme, PATHS1 (DFID), PATHS2 (DFID), GLRA, UNICEF and World Health Organization (WHO). He served in the team of two consultants facilitating the development of Minimum Service Package (MSP) for three States Primary HealthCare Development Agencies that include Imo State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Anambra State Primary Health Care Development Agency and Abia State Primary HealthCare Development Agency; As well as facilitated the development of the Imo State Primary HealthCare Development Agency Primary Health Care Regulation. As a public health professional consultant in the field He assisted with the feeding in of questionnaire into the EPI Info software for PATHS in 2008; He served as state supervisor in the data quality survey of Ondo State TB records and Laboratory test of 2009 and 2010 for GLRA September 2010 as well as state supervisor in the public expenditure Management review of Enugu state health sector for PATHS2 November, 2010. He also served as Cluster Facilitation Officer (CFO) for PATHS2 (DFID) overseeing the Enugu Ezike Cluster (Health District Area) comprising Igboeze North, Igboeze South and Udenu LGAs of Enugu State February 2015- March 2016.
